Overview

Media Doctors Australia was an innovative platform I co-founded with Dr Kelly Champane to bridge the gap between the medical community and the public.

The project used creative videography and social media to deliver trusted and engaging health messages tailored to Australia’s diverse population. Our goal was to improve health literacy by presenting information in relatable and accessible ways. The platform's debut project, #SocialDisdancing, creatively combined dance and public health messaging during the COVID-19 pandemic, reaching over 43,000 viewers worldwide.

Media Doctors Australia reflected my passion for merging medicine, creativity, and public communication, offering a unique approach to sharing important health information with a broad audience. It was a step toward making healthcare messaging more inclusive, impactful, and trusted across communities.

The success of Media Doctors Australia underscored the importance of innovative approaches in healthcare communication. By leveraging creativity and technology, the platform demonstrated how vital health messages could reach and resonate with people of all ages and backgrounds. It was a reminder that impactful healthcare isn’t just about clinical work—it’s about connecting with communities in meaningful and relatable ways.
